Revisions to the State University Tuition Waiver: 
Beginning with students graduating in 2009, only AIMS results from a student’s sophomore and junior year will be considered when determining eligibility for the High Honors Tuition Waiver. This means that students will need to “Exceed” on AIMS during their sophomore or junior year to qualify. AIMS Tuition Waiver Requirements
 
  • Students must complete 16 Core courses by graduation with a B or better in each course.
                        English                   4 credits     Social Science                       2 credits
                        Math                       4 credits     Foreign Language                2 credits
                        Lab Science            3 credits     Fine Arts                               1 credit
AND
 
  • Students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or better in the 16 Core courses.
 AND
 
  • Students must exceed the Standards on all three (3) of the AIMS High School tests by the end of the junior year.
